Step is finishing its New York run. On Tuesday, The Hollywood Journalist revealed that the long-running off-Broadway show’s makers declared that Step is shutting after a last run of exhibitions at New York City’s Orpheum Theater, with the last show booked for Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023.

A representative for the creation let the power source know that Step’s end after almost 29 years at the East Town setting is “expected to declining ticket deals.” “We are pleased to the point that the East Town and the Orpheum Theater has been Step’s home for such countless superb years and need to thank our makers and our astonishing cast, group and front-of-house staff, every one of whom have buckled down for such a long time to make the show such a triumph,” Step makers Steve McNicholas and Luke Cresswell expressed Tuesday in a proclamation got by THR.
