Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka Wizkid, and American pop star, Janet Jackson met at the Arise Fashion Show after-party in Qatar.

The two singers were plainly modest when they saw each other and exchanged pleasantries amongst the group.

In a video making the rounds online, Janet approached Wizkid to welcome him as he chilled, and on seeing her, Wizkid bowed as a worthy gesture.

Starboy was one of the VIP visitors present at the Arise Fashion Week alongside other top stars from all over the world.

The video which was recorded by someone on Wizzy’s team had a caption which explained that Janet Jackson was the one who moved towards Wizkid’s section.

It reads: “A Yooo Janet Jackson just pulled up on us. Absolute Legend!”

Similarly, earlier this month, Nigerian Grammy winner, Burna Kid made headlines for being one of the fortunate entertainers to be invited to Beyonce’s party.

Burna met Beyonce at her Tiffany and Co’s party in Paris, France and a photograph on social media captured them conversing.

He had earlier shared his experience working with Sovereign Bey, it was great to say it.

The 28-year-old tweeted; “It was great working on the Lion King Soundtrack with ⁦@Beyonce⁩. Listen and Appreciate”.

The album, The Lion King: The Gift, featured other Nigerian singers like Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi and Yemi Alade.
