Harvey Weinstein, previous film maker, was condemned to 16 years for the 2013 assault and rape of an anonymous Italian entertainer and model. The 70-year-old was at that point carrying out a 23-year punishment in New York.

The Los Angeles jury in December had sentenced Weinstein for one count of assault and two counts of rape.

The New York Times and The New Yorker distributed reports enumerating many years of supposed lewd behavior and attack by Weinstein.
