A soldier died under a month after the body of his better half was found hung at the Army dormitory where she worked. On June 10, the collection of 23-year-old Sophie Madden was found at the Overhill Training Center at St. Martin’s Plain Camp, which is situated close to Folkestone.

After half a month, on July 19, the collection of Ross Burnside, who was in his 20s at the hour of his passing, was found in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, as per The Mirror.

The support association Veterans Against Suicide depicted the passings as “preventable” tragedies in its proclamation. The two people previously became familiar while they were both serving in the third Regiment Royal Horse Artillery.
