A 15-year-old is recuperating subsequent to being shot in the leg on Thursday while he was going house to house lobbying for Liberal Raphael Warnock, the Savannah Police Division says. As per the division, there is up to this point no sign the shooting was politically spurred.

Cops answered a shooting around 5:35 p.m. on Thursday and found a “15-year-old male casualty experiencing a shot injury to the leg,” the police division said.

The casualty was moved to Dedication Clinical Place for treatment of wounds which the division said were not hazardous.

Analysts have since captured 42-year-old Savannah man Jimmy Paiz on charges of irritated attack and exasperated battery. They say the examination stays continuous.
